Young men in my generation have become emotional wimps.
Instead of dealing with our feelings head on we resort to escape, fantasy, video games, and mastrubation.
We fear doing business before God and standing firm to real challenges that face us.
We want instant gratification, not knowing that it is creating an addiction and the beginnings of a vicious cycle.
We know that these things can never satisfy fully or for very long.
We don’t know the Holy Spirit who says that He can make all things new.
We settle for lesser things instead of putting in the hardest work, and that’s resting in God’s presence and surrender to His full ability to take care of things.
